KÖKSAV's first meeting, filled with art, culture, and solidarity, was held in London.

KÖKSAV's first in-person meeting, organized with the dedicated contributions of our volunteers, took place in London on Sunday, October 5th.
The event began with an opening speech hosted by İnci Kaya and a video message of solidarity. Sultan Karataş and Emre Erdal then shared comprehensive information about the foundation's founding purpose, vision, and goals. The speeches focused on the historical accumulation of social demands in the fields of arts and culture, and the possibilities of mobilizing this accumulation to contribute to the construction of a more solidaristic and free society.
The speakers emphasized the importance of cultural and artistic production in keeping social memory alive, emphasizing the message, "Those who build society's art are more powerful than those who design official history."

Etkinlik programında İnci Kaya tarafından Pablo Neruda, Joe Corrie ve Sultan Karataş'tan birer şiir seslendirildi. Günün devamında Kemal Dinç ve Barış Kadem'in müzik performanslarında büyük beğeni topladı. Müzisyenler Dodan Özer'in Âşık Veysel'den seslendirdiği muhteşem eser ise etkinliğimizi ödüllendiren güzel bir sürpriz olarak anılarda yer etti.
Katılımcıların yoğun ilgiyle gerçekleşen etkinlik, samimi bir atmosfer, karşılıklı etkileşim ve üretken paylaşım ortamına sahne oldu. 
Programın ardından, dinleyicilerin geri bildirimleri ve bilgileri eşliğinde gezilen serbest sohbet bölümünde, kuşaklar arası bağların devam ettiği ve sanatın birleştirici rolü üzerine fikir alışverişinde bulunuldu. Ayrıca gençlerin kültürel üretimlerinin daha etkin değişiminin önemi vurgulandı.
Etkinlik, paylaşım, üretim ve dayanışma ruhunun öne çıktığı sıcak bir doğum sona erdi.
